FRIENDS OF COMINOS HOUSE
To conserve one of the oldest surviving houses in Cairns, previously owned by respected pioneering Cairns families and now known as Cominos House
To conserve, by way of adaptation, an early Cairns residence of historical and social value in accordance with the Australian Charter for the Conservation of Places
To be a group of people who share a common interest in the conservation to manage the Arts and Environment Centre
To establish a permanent museum display area with emphasis on items connected with the former occupiers and history of the house
To conserve Cominos House and promote the Arts and Environment Centre
